Built in 1956 and lovingly expanded over time – truly a gem in a prime lake and forest location, where great attention to detail can be found.
Arrive – breathe deeply – enjoy
This beautiful country house is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday in northern Sweden and is ideally suited for couples, families, a holiday with friends or a fishing holiday. Between June and October, our in-house boat (with motor) can be booked to explore and fish the almost 10km large Lake Mensträsket right outside our door. Other fishing opportunities are also available here (see “Guest Guide” – “Your Guides”). In addition, there is the option to set up your own tents for overnight stays on the meadow belonging to the country house (possible from June to October) or to book one of our other accommodations.

Stuga
Our pride and joy – small, charming, quaint, and cozy. The Cabin, with its 25 m², is practically and lovingly furnished.
⇒ Furniture made from whole birch logs (untreated)
We used only natural materials for the furnishings, processed real wood, built the furniture ourselves, and conjured a very special rustic charm into the interior of the house.
Right in the entrance you will find a wardrobe made of real wood, combined with wrought iron wall hooks and a large wall mirror with driftwood as a frame, under which there is also a refrigerator and a mini-oven.Here you will find a spacious bunk bed made of real birch logs, which, thanks to its dimensions (1.80 × 2.30 m), offers ample space for a good and restful sleep. A small seating area with a table, a kitchen counter (also made of birch logs), and warm, subtle lighting complete the overall picture. Heating is currently provided by a gas boiler and an electric radiator.
The cabin also has a separate room in the entrance area with a small bathroom (sink, fresh water canister, and camping toilet). A shower and washing machine are available in our main house.

A typical Swedish holiday cabin with traditional design and the “Lagom” lifestyle ⇔ “not too much, not too little” – the Swedish formula for happiness and balance, often referred to as the “golden mean”.
You will find everything you need in the cabin:

heated tents
Arctic Adventure – Spend the night in our tent
Available year-round!
Our tents, from the high-quality brand Tentipi Adventure Tents, are made of thick, weather-resistant fabric (manufactured in Moskosel, northern Sweden), are waterproofed by us, and equipped with a double tent stove.
A 7kW wood-burning stove with a glass insert provides pleasant warmth and a romantic ambiance during the day. Next to it (see photos – the silver box) is another stove, this one diesel-powered. It has five heat settings to ensure the tent stays warm overnight. Reindeer hides on the beds (a double bed measuring 1.40 x 2.00m – made from whole birch logs and topped with comfortable mattresses) provide additional warmth from below. All of this, combined with our high-quality polar sleeping bags, offers a comfortable and safe night’s sleep.
Our two tents are located at the back of our property, nestled among birch and spruce trees and surrounded by countless blueberry bushes. A natural fire pit and a cozy lounge area between the two tents complete the picture and make your camping experience perfect. Electricity is available in our tents upon request, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire grounds.
Shower, toilet, and, if needed, washing machine and dryer are located in our main house. Dishwashing can also be done in the main house.
